Driver Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition
• Be transparent about costs and route details
• Arrive on time for scheduled pickups

Passenger Responsibilities

• Be ready at agreed pickup location and time
• Respect driver's vehicle and rules
• Pay agreed fares promptly
• Communicate cancellations in a timely manner

6. Accommodation Services

Host Responsibilities

• Provide accurate descriptions of accommodations
• Maintain safe and clean living spaces
• Respect guests' privacy and personal space
• Disclose all costs and house rules upfront

Guest Responsibilities

• Respect property and house rules
• Pay rent and deposits as agreed
• Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces
• Communicate concerns promptly and respectfully

7. Job Postings

Employers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate job descriptions and requirements
• Complying with employment laws and regulations
• Not discriminating in hiring practices
• Being transparent about compensation and conditions

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Distribute spam or unsolicited commercial messages
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security
• Collect user information without consent

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Ottawa Punjabis or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with operating the Platform.

10. Payments and Fees

While basic use of our Platform is free, we may charge fees for premium services. All fees are clearly disclosed before you commit to any paid service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ottawa Punjabis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform or interactions with other users.

12. Dispute Resolution

Most concerns can be resolved quickly by contacting our support team. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, we agree to resolve any claim through binding arbitration in Ottawa, Ontario, rather than in court.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Platform or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
